About Us

The Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) was established on 23 February 2003. It is a non-profit and non-political organization registered under the Societies Act, 1860 with the Government of Bangladesh bearing Registration No: S-3081(46)/2003. This is the first institutional set-up in the name of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).


Since its inception the Institute has been working to disseminate the basic principles of Islam in light of the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) that emphasizes on love for all of Allah SWT’s creations. It has been working for the establishment of socio-economic justice by promoting peaceful coexistence amongst people of different races and religions, poverty alleviation, human rights, Islamic finance, Zakat and Waqf etc.


The Institute also conducts various vocational and language training programs for persons with disability, visual impairment and of special conditions to improve their self-reliance and social acceptance. Some of our training programs are also carried out at various parts of Bangladesh in collaboration with local partners or national bodies.
