She presented a research paper titled "Frame Building_ An Important Responsibility of Todays Media" at the Forum.
The First International Forum on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) was organized by the Research Group on Mass Communication, Culture and Society; Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sais-Fes; and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco, on June 15-17, 2011, with the collaboration of UNESCO as lead Partner, ISESCO, the Arab Bureau of Education for the Golf States (ABEGS) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) as key partners. UNESCO launched the MIL curriculum in three languages: English, French and Arabic in this Forum. The Forum came out with the Fez Declaration on MIL and a Plan of Action to promote MIL and encourage international, regional and inter-regional cooperation to this effect. The Forum was participated by 50 representatives from 33 countries around the Globe. |

| 16 Apr, 2011 | 2011 World Bank Spring Meeting | The Institute of Hazrat Mohammad SAW presented a panel discussion on “Social Protection for Climate-induced Migration” at 2011 World Bank Spring Meeting. Barrister Rizwana Yusuf, Director Administration presented the keynote speaker.
The keynote paper titled “Social Protection for Climate-induced Migration” examined the existing legal and institutional framework to respond to climate-induced human migration and proposed responses towards preventing an outpouring of ‘homeless’ people through integrated strategies from public private partnerships. It reflected on the Institute’s research on the phenomenon of forced migration caused by climate change which is a problem facing the world at large and Bangladesh in particular.
A total of 40 sessions were held by the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Civil Society Organizations on a wide range of topics including aid effectiveness, food price volatility, safeguards, Middle East democracy movements, youth empowerment, and climate change. |

The course was conducted by one of the most recognized CSR/sustainability specialists in the region – Dr. Richard Welford, the chairman of CSR Asia. Equipped with a deeper understanding of the Global Compact practical implementation and reporting, the participants are expected to help positioning their company/institution as a leader of sustainability in the region.
